A Pure Delight

This show was non-stop energy and excitement. The cast was phenomenal. The songs were fun, catchy, and funny. There was not a single lull in the entire show. I laughed so many times. It was certainly an all time favorite show in my opinion. I love Broadway and have seen many shows and this is perhaps the only one that never had a quiet or slow moment. The time passed so quickly that when the intermission started, I couldn't believe how much time had passed already. I was sad when the show ended because I wanted it to continue all night. It was a show that had me talking about it the next day and already thinking about when I can go back! This is a "Do Not Miss It" type of show!

Great Show

I did not know what to expect from the "Book". I knew that it has been running for some time now and wanted to find out the "why". The first number of the show already reminds one of the first time, an "elder" said "Hello" at your doorstep. the fun begins and you never stop laughing about the songs and the lyrics. Although these two elements will tricker your sense of humor in the first place, the sophisticated idea behind the show is always present. Highly recommended and I already told my friends who visited NYC one week after my stay to buy tickets for the Book of Mormon

Disappointing

Not sure if it was the really high expectations we had of the show or not, but really didn't rate this. The actors were all ok but the storyline, plot and music were really weak. I'm the opposite of prude, but thought the jokes were a little 90s, nothing original and a bit basic and 'done'. Felt like we were watching a high school play at times and the costumes and set echoed that. The theatre was clean and staff were nice, although drinks were ludicrously overpriced ($38 for 2 single G&Ts) and you had to drink them out of a weird plastic baby style tumbler which dripped and leaked all over the place. There was only one toilet which was a nightmare at the interval, although the staff dealt with this the very best they could to get people in and out quickly. All in all, wish I'd seen something else.
